Austin completed his undergraduate studies at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Albany, NY, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences. He furthered his education at Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY, where he successfully obtained a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree.

Prior to attending PA school, Austin gained patient care experience as a Trauma Technician in an Emergency Room in Binghamton, NY. During this time, he had the opportunity to shadow an Orthopedic PA, which sparked his interest in the specialty.

Growing up in Endicott, NY, Austin participated in multiple sports including football, baseball, and swimming. This sparked his interest in health and wellness. He is excited about new beginnings in North Carolina and enjoys frequent visits to the Outer Banks.
