Triangle Surgery Center

Triangle Surgery Center (TSC) began as a vision set forth by a group of physicians and administrators of Triangle Orthopaedic Associates, P.A. Considering the traditional hospital setting, which can often be overbearing and time-consuming, the physicians envisioned a more convenient, intimate and specialized surgical center. The goal was to accommodate patients in a personal environment and to simplify the process of same-day surgical procedures.

In 2009 the time was right. Triangle Surgery Center determined a central location in the Triangle and developed a plan for implementation. The group solicited a certificate of need (CON), and applied to become an Ambulatory Surgery Demonstration Project, which would be included in the State Medical Facilities Plan of 2010. The State of North Carolina granted the CON to TSC and publicly named it a demonstration project in 2011. This status restrains facility costs and allows TSC to deliver quality care while offering more affordable, competitive prices for patients, thus creating greater accessibility to medical attention for North Carolinians.

TSC opened its doors in February of 2013 as a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgical center. We believe our success is a result of our commitment to providing patients with quality health care while showing the highest degree of respect and integrity.
