Austin obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC, in 2017. Following his undergraduate studies, he pursued further education at Lenoir Rhyne University, where he completed his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2021.

Austin is both a board-certified Physician Assistant and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
