Sports Medicine

Dr. Michael McGraw is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with expertise in sports medicine and minimally invasive procedures for the shoulder, hip, and knee. His advanced training at Howard University, the University of Pennsylvania, and the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York prepared him to deliver leading-edge care for patients of all activity levels.

Throughout his career, Dr. McGraw has worked with professional and collegiate athletes, including the New York Mets and East Carolina University, experience that now benefits the patients he cares for at EmergeOrtho–Triangle Region. Recognized for his skill and compassionate approach, he offers a wide range of surgical and non-surgical treatments designed to restore mobility, reduce pain, and help patients return to the activities they enjoy.

When he’s not treating patients, Dr. McGraw enjoys time with his wife and son, as well as staying active through golf and fitness.
