Teresa is a native of Fredericksburg, VA. She obtained her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Slippery Rock University as well as a Masters of Education in Exercise Science from Auburn University.

Teresa is certified by the NCCPA as a physician assistant and is licensed by the North Carolina Medical Board. Additionally, she is certified as an athletic trainer and strength and conditioning specialist.
