Katie Batten, PA-C

Katie Batten, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in joint replacement care across the Triangle region. Originally from Ohio, Katie relocated to North Carolina at a young age and went on to earn her undergraduate degree in Athletic Training from Elon University. She later completed a Master’s degree in Kinesiology at Michigan State University and began her career working as an athletic trainer at a small college.

Katie subsequently pursued advanced clinical training, earning her Master of Physician Assistant Practice from Campbell University. Prior to joining her current team, she spent six years practicing as an orthopedic Physician Assistant at Duke University, gaining extensive experience in surgical and patient care settings.

She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and holds licensure through the North Carolina Medical Board.

Outside of her professional role, Katie enjoys spending time with her spouse and dogs, following Ohio State athletics, and baking. She provides care to patients at the Durham and Southpoint locations, including North Carolina Specialty Hospital and Triangle Surgery Center.
