Holden Upright earned a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2020 before continuing education at Campbell University, where a Master of Physician Assistant Studies was completed in 2024.

Prior to becoming a Physician Assistant, Holden gained hands-on experience working as a physical therapy technician at a sports medicine clinic. This background helped build a strong foundation in patient care and musculoskeletal health.

Holden is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is licensed through the North Carolina Medical Board. Holden currently provides orthopedic care in the southeastern region, serving patients in the Smithfield and Clayton locations.

Outside of work, Holden enjoys golfing, hiking, and spending time with family and pets.
