Chris started his adult life in the Army as an 82nd Airborne Paratrooper in a Field Artillery and served his country in Iraq and Afghanistan. After being honorably discharged from active-duty service, he moved on to earn his Bachelor of Biological Science and Minor in Nutrition Science from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC in 2012 and his Master of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies from South College in Knoxville, TN in 2015.
He is currently licensed by the North Carolina Medical Board as a Physician Assistant and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. He is a current member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants.
Since graduation with his Master’s degree in 2015, he has worked in family medicine and urgent care for over 5 years gathering a wide variety of medical experience. He also has participated in clinical research and in his free time has assisted in the organization and management of 2 medical mission trips to Haiti with a local church. Outside of work, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and 3 children, staying active, and traveling.
